Atrocious Command Bunker
Somewhere in Eastern Krasnovia
0923 Hours, 2 FEB 11
After a long night of hit-and-run skirmishes around the neighborhood fighting for dominance in the drifts of snow, I can report that it is finally over. The raging storm has passed us by and order has been restored. Not without casualties of course–it was around midnight when I had to hit the clacker and detonate my first string of daisy-chained claymores in the front yard to defend the homestead from ravenous cannibal hordes. For awhile it was pretty touch-and-go, as ammunition and whiskey supplies ran desperately low. But in the end we prevailed.
Our ultimate victory did come at a cost however. We eventually had to eat the dogs. Not that food was running low or anything, but the Old Lady has this kick-ass kagogi recipe and well… we were sort of looking for an excuse to try it out. Their sacrifice was not in vain however, and we shall take pause and remember them throughout the week as we finish up the leftovers.
This morning as the sun rose above the carnage I was able to snap a few photos to share with you all. As you can see it was a tough fight.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to retire to the basement and reload some ammo.
